1. Who we are
This website is run by Oliver Jarvis, trading as Springs & Neaps, of 2 Lergh Karvannek Soth, Nansledan, Newquay, Cornwall, TR8 4ST ("we", "us"). Email: hello@springsandneaps.co.uk.
2. What we sell
Printed tide posters and tide calendars, each made to the place, words, style and size you choose in our designer.
Tide times and heights are predictions for leisure use. They are not for navigation and may differ from the actual tide, particularly in unusual weather.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged or shown. Delivery is shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order; we never see or store your card details.
4. Your order
Your order is accepted when we email you a confirmation. Please check your design carefully before ordering, especially spelling: we print what you design. If we can't fulfil an order we will tell you and refund you in full.
5. Delivery
We deliver to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) only. We can't yet deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man: an order with a Northern Ireland address is refunded in full. See delivery and returns for times and costs.
6. Cancellations and returns
Every poster and calendar is made to your specification, so the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply. Your statutory rights for faulty or damaged goods are not affected. Details are on the delivery and returns page.
7. Your design
You confirm that the words you add are yours to use and are not offensive or unlawful. We may decline an order that is. Maps and data on the poster carry their own credits (see credits).
8. Complaints
If something is wrong, email hello@springsandneaps.co.uk with your order number. We reply within two working days and aim to resolve any complaint within 14 days. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme. Nothing here takes away your right to take a dispute to court.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Because the predictions are not for navigation, we are not liable for loss arising from using a poster or calendar for navigation or safety decisions.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
